AMY TRYON JOINS FITS TEAM RIDER PROGRAM
PORTLAND OR-- FITS / Fun In The Saddle, Inc. is pleased to welcome Eventer Amy Tryon to their FITS Team Rider program. “Amy is an inspiration to every child who dares to dream big.” explains Sheryl Rudolph, President of FITS Technical Equestrian Apparel. “She has worked hard and accomplished great things. We are excited to join forces with Amy as she continues to reach for the stars.”
Amy rode in her first 3-Day Event at the age of 8 on a borrowed pony. She finished high school early and spent five years traveling the country competing and gaining upper level riding experience while supporting herself as a working student. She went on to college and after graduation worked as a firefighter --- a career she chose as it would allow her to balance her riding goals with her work. Amy retired from the fire department in 2006 to dedicate herself to her horses and riding goals. She is a highly accomplished competitor whose career highlights include an Olympic Individual Bronze Medal in addition to:
